Top Phoenix Pediatric Dentist Visits Washington D.C. as an “Ask the Expert” on Silver Diamine Fluoride

This past Memorial Day Weekend, Dr. Jeanette MacLean attended the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s Annual Session in Washington D.C.  Dr. MacLean was invited as a guest of Elevate Oral Care, the only US supplier of Advantage Arrest Silver Diamine Fluoride 38% (SDF), as an “Ask the Expert” resource to thousands of dentists from across the US, Canada, and Mexico.  Interest in SDF reached a fever pitch at this year’s meeting, as more and more dentists are coming to realize the many advantages of a minimally invasive approach to caries treatment in young children, or what we like to call the Medical Management of Caries (MMC).  Safe and effective treatments like SDF truly satisfy the Triple Aim of Care goal of oral health, whereby we improve health, increase access to care, and reduce costs.  We hope to see this paradigm shift in pediatric dentistry continue to grow.
