Dr. MacLean to Lecture at AAPD Annual Session

Dr. Jeanette MacLean is scheduled to speak at the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry 2020 Annual Session. The meeting was to take place in Nashville, TN, however, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the meeting has moved to a virtual platform for the first time in the event’s history. Dr. MacLean and her co-speaker, Dr. Yasmi Crystal (lead author of the AAPD’s evidence-based clinical practice guideline for SDF and NYU professor of pediatric dentistry), are very grateful that they will be able to still share their information of minimal interventions for pediatric dentistry.  The crisis has shed light on the many benefits of non-invasive treatments (like silver diamine fluoride (SDF), atraumatic restorative treatment (ART), and Hall Technique) which can be accomplished without producing aerosols.
