She said people she hadn’t spoken to in years, even from across the country, called and emailed her, “is that your son?!” You might recall she is an anesthesiologist and we had a poignant discussion about the significance of this option and how it can help many children avoid deep sedation and anesthesia. (P.S. that’s my patient, Paul, in the background photo bombing us. He has Down Syndrome and has been coming to our office since he was 2 years old – so for 43 years!!?!! He couldn’t wait for his turn. And yup, he got SDF too!!💕) Life is good!
