Oral Health Day at the Arizona State Capital

Oral Health Day at the Arizona State Capitol; Dr. Jeanette MacLean attends along with members of the Arizona Dental Association.

On February 16th, 2016, ACDS pediatric dentist, Dr. Jeanette MacLean, attended Oral Health Day at the Arizona State Capitol. She joined a delegation of the Arizona Dental Association made of of dentists and dental students that visited the capitol to speak with their senators, representatives, and Gov. Doug Ducey, to urge support of legislation to improve the oral health of all Arizonans. Their efforts helped lead to a unanimous vote in support of Senate Bill 1507 from the Senate Appropriations Committee to restore dental care for our developmentally, elderly and physically disabled citizens. The next step will be to have Gov. Ducey sign Senate Bill 1507.
