Dr. Jeanette MacLean Lectures at McGill University’s Silver Diamine Fluoride Symposium
On May 5, 2018, Dr. Jeanette MacLean lectured to a sold out crowd of dentists from across the US and Canada at the prestigious McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. Her co-speakers included Dr. Graham Craig, who is credited with introducing the use of silver ions to treat caries to Australia in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The Silver Diamine Fluoride Symposium reviewed the science and evidence for SDF and glass ionomer cement, along with practical clinical implications to help other dentists incorporate this minimally invasive treatment options into their practices.
